In Sensational Smiths Falls - The Heart of The Rideau On July 6, 7 and 8th, 2007 the Smiths Falls & District Chamber of Commerce, together with Parks Canada and the entire Town of Smiths Falls, will be celebrating an incredible time in our town’s history, with the once in a lifetime Rideau 175 Heritage Festival. The Chamber’s hope, in facilitating the Rideau 175 Heritage Festival, is to bring the community together in celebration of the Canal’s contribution to the region. The Festival is also meant to entice visitors to return to Smiths Falls time and time again to enjoy the talents, beauty and history that are plentiful in the sensational community we live in.
